8-bit micro-controller: Supports LIN master connectivity
The 8-bit core is based on an Harvard architecture and provides a 3-stage pipeline.
The MCU comes with an 8-KiB flash-memory and an integrated EEPROM. The offered peripherals include a UART (universal asynchronous receiver transmitter) with a LIN master implementation. The micro-controller comes in an SO8N packing.
The LIN software master implementation complies with the LIN 2.1 specification. The receiver supports two wake-up modes: address bit (MSB) and idle line (interrupt). Detected transmission errors generate an interrupt. The LIN master mode features 13-bit synchronization and break frame. In reception, 11-bit break frames are detected.
